Nancy Moricette is an accomplished Actor and Arts Educator. She currently resides in Los Angeles but splits time between the East and West Coasts. 

 

She recently starred in a tour of the critically acclaimed play, Blues For Mr. Charlie for The Williams Project Theatre in Seattle.  She is a recipient of the 2013 Philadelphia Theatre Critics Award, and a 2014 Helen Hayes Award Nomination for her portrayal of Jekesai in Danai Gurira's production of The Convert at The Woolly Mammoth Theatre. She has performed at numerous reputable regional and off-broadway theatres such as The Public Theatre in New York, The Goodman Theatre in Chicago and The Woolly Mammoth Theatre in Washington D.C. 

 

In addition to being an actor she is an accomplished Anti-Bias Educator. She holds a M.S.E. in Community Leadership from Bank Street College and held arts residencies with El Museo Del Barrio, Purelements an Evolution in Dance, and The Hudson Guild in Chelsea, New York. She is currently contracted to create anti-bias arts programming for The Wilma Theatre in Philadelphia,  The Williams Project in Seattle, iO LA Theatre in Los Angeles and Endgames Improv in San Francisco.
